Stop 1: El Sauzal Viewpoint
The first highlight is El Sauzal, one of the best natural viewpoints on Tenerife’s northern coast. Here you can enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and, on clear days, spectacular views of Mount Teide.

Stop 2: San Cristóbal de La Laguna – UNESCO World Heritage Site
Continuing east, you’ll arrive in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Tenerife’s cultural and historical heart. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, La Laguna is famous for its beautifully preserved colonial architecture, colorful streets and vibrant atmosphere.
A short walk through the historic center is highly recommended before continuing toward the mountains of Anaga.
Stop 3: Exploring the Anaga Rural Park
From La Laguna, the road enters the breathtaking Anaga Rural Park, one of the oldest and most beautiful natural areas in the Canary Islands.
Twisting mountain roads pass through ancient laurel forests, dramatic ridges and spectacular viewpoints overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. This section is often considered one of the best riding experiences in Tenerife.
Stop 4: Mirador de la Playa de Las Teresitas
One of the route’s most iconic viewpoints is the Mirador de la Playa de Las Teresitas. From here you can admire the famous golden-sand beach, turquoise waters and the impressive volcanic landscape surrounding Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
It is one of the best photography spots on the entire route.
Stop 5: Scenic Roads of Anaga
The route continues through the winding roads of Anaga, offering endless curves and unforgettable views of mountains, valleys and coastline.
This section is a paradise for motorcycle enthusiasts and nature lovers.
Return Along the Northern Coast
Leaving Anaga behind, the route heads back toward the northern coast through La Laguna and El Sauzal, providing one final opportunity to enjoy Tenerife’s spectacular scenery before completing the journey.
